Volvo are conducting a large field test with the aim of preventing any injury or accident in a Volvo by 2020.

This technology has not been installed on that many Volvo cars but it can track just how well someone can handle a certain situations.

The technology will monitor the drivers behaviour whilst driving and analyse how this changes depending on the situation. (more…)

A decade ago, buying a hybrid was a lonely business. There were only two to choose from the original Honda Insight and the gawkily styled 1997 Mark I Prius and both attracted small numbers of buyers.

Although a hybrid does emmit less C02 than a normal car it is a long way off from emitting no C02 altogether which is why it is only at its first stage. (more…)

The Corvette is a iconic car built by Chevrolet ( A GM brand) and now into its 6th generation. The first corvette was designed by Harely Earl (the legend) and was introduced to the market during the 1950s.

Whenever you are looking into a paper it is never about the new cars or how cars are changing to save the environment but how they are constantly killing people. In most cases it is often the driver that is in the wrong despite it being blamed on the vehicle.

If you were to see two newspapers in a shop one with the front page headline CAR CRASH KILLS 5 PEOPLE or the headline to another with CAR SAVED MY LIFE there is no doubt that you would go for the paper that has the 5 deaths plastered on the front of it. (more…)

Yes you saw that right, you may not think that the police are out in froce on christmas today but they are looking for people who think it is okay to drink and drive on Christmas Day simply because it is Christmas.

In fact a figure has recently come out stating that 62% of men would happily drive after drinking around the Christmas period whereas 34% of women think the same.
