Junk At The Car Boot?
Nearly everyone here in the UK must have been to at least one car boot sale but why on earth do people go to these things on a regular occassion? Is it because many people cannot resist a bargain hunt or is it because you get dragged around it on a Sunday morning by your Nan?
Whatever the reason this is are these kinds of sales dying out or are they actually worth going to? It is really up to you on this. There are actually some decent reasons to be going to one of these sales.
Reason 1
On the rare occassion you could actually find something you are after at one of these sales. The reason is that most people have no idea on how their things are worth and some of these are actually worth a bit of money which is why you should always haggle people for the prices. One of the plus sides to these sales is that you can sometimes find really cheap things that you may be after and there are even TV programs based just on these boot sales.
Reason 2
You could always be very nice to your gran by taking her things that she buys for the nutters at the car boot. Carry the junk around for her and there might well be 50p in it for you.
The Bad Things

The thing is that these sales do not really sound too legal, scruffy looking people selling things from the back of their cars, hmmm? Sounds like something the law enforcement should get involved in.
Reason 2
In a lot of cases you cannot tell if the item works until you get it home. This is especially true for things like games and DVD’s as you cannot test to see if they are working until you get in and by this time it is often all too late.
So if you are thinking about being one of these sellers it could be worth looking into Audi leasing or Van Leasing to make sure you have the room for all the junk. Car leasing is also something else you could look into.
